Early design plan of an "addition" to an existing stone studio building. The "addition", which is several times the size of the existing structure, is composed of many unconventional spaces and relationships which derive from the way the owner wishes to live in the house. The front side of the building will continue the pastoral English cottage appearance, while the rear which faces the mountains is to be glass walls and angular sloping metal roofs.
